STRENGTH MAKES LIFE EASIER.

Strength training isn’t just about how much weight you can lift.

It’s about building a body that allows you to keep doing the things you want to do.

GET STRONGER

Getting stronger can make everyday activities easier—from carrying groceries and working around the house to keeping up with your kids or grandkids.

We train the basic movement patterns your body uses every day and progressively build strength over time.

IMPROVE BODY COMPOSITION

Strength training helps you build and maintain muscle.

Combined with good nutrition and consistent habits, it can be an important part of losing body fat and improving your body composition.

MOVE BETTER

We want you to be strong, but we also want you to be able to use that strength.

Our training incorporates movements that help you maintain mobility, balance and confidence in what your body can do.

STAY STRONG AS YOU GET OLDER

Getting older doesn’t mean you have to stop trying to improve.

Maintaining muscle and strength becomes increasingly important as we age, and strength training gives you a way to continue investing in what your body is capable of doing.

TRAIN FOR LIFE.

Maybe you want to lose weight.

Maybe you want to feel stronger than you do right now.

Maybe you want to keep hiking, traveling, playing with your grandkids or doing the things you enjoy for as long as possible.

Whatever the reason, strength gives you more options.

We’re not trying to make you 25 again.

We’re helping you become a stronger version of who you are today.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT ON YOUR OWN.

One of the hardest parts about going to the gym is knowing what to do once you get there.

At Build, your workout is already planned.

You show up, and we coach you through it.

WARM-UP & MOVEMENT

We start by getting your body ready to train.

The goal is to help you move well, prepare for the workout ahead and address the movements you’ll be using that day.

STRENGTH TRAINING

Strength is the foundation of our adult program.

You’ll squat, hinge, push, pull, carry and perform other movements designed to help you become stronger over time.

You don’t have to know how to do everything when you start.

We’ll teach you.

TRAINING AT YOUR LEVEL

Not everyone in the room has the same experience, ability or goals.

Exercises can be modified, weights can be adjusted and progressions can change based on the person.

You can train alongside the group without having to keep up with anyone else.

CONDITIONING

We also incorporate conditioning to help improve your overall fitness and work capacity.

That doesn’t mean every workout has to leave you lying on the floor exhausted.

The goal is to give you the right amount of work to continue making progress.

PROGRESS OVER TIME

You don’t need a completely different workout every time you walk through the door.

Good training builds on itself.

We use structured programming so you have an opportunity to practice movements, get stronger and see progress over time.

YOU JUST HAVE TO WALK THROUGH THE DOOR.

We’ll take care of the rest.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO GET READY FOR THE GYM.

A lot of people put off starting because they think they need to lose some weight, get stronger or improve their conditioning first.

You don’t.

That’s what training is for.

HAVEN’T WORKED OUT IN YEARS?

That’s okay.

You’re not expected to walk through the door and immediately train like someone who has been exercising consistently for years.

We start with where you are today.

NERVOUS ABOUT THE GYM?

You’re not alone.

Walking into a new gym can be intimidating, especially when you don’t know what exercises to do or whether you’re doing them correctly.

At Build, you have a coach and a plan.

We’ll show you what to do, teach you how to do it and make adjustments when needed.

WORRIED ABOUT KEEPING UP?

You don’t have to.

Everyone in the room can be working toward getting stronger while using different exercises, weights or modifications.

Your workout should challenge you—not the person standing next to you.

EVERYONE HAS A DAY ONE.

Every person training at Build had a first workout.

You don’t need to wait until you feel completely ready.

Sometimes you just need to start.

COME AS YOU ARE. WE’LL BUILD FROM THERE.

MORE THAN ACCESS TO A GYM.

When you train at Build, you’re not just paying for a place to use equipment.

You’re getting a coach, a plan and people to train alongside.

REAL COACHING

Our coaches are there throughout the workout.

We teach exercises, help with technique, answer questions and make adjustments when needed.

You’re never expected to walk in and figure everything out yourself.

A PLAN TO FOLLOW

You don’t have to search for workouts online or wonder what you should train that day.

We take care of the programming.

Your job is to show up, train consistently and let us help you progress.

PEOPLE TO TRAIN WITH

Training is easier when you’re surrounded by other people working toward similar goals.

Our adult classes give you the energy and encouragement of training with a group without getting lost in the crowd.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Sometimes the hardest part of working out is simply being consistent.

When you train at Build, people know your name.

Your coaches notice when you’re there. The people you train with notice when you’re there.

And over time, that accountability can make showing up part of your routine.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO IT ALONE.

Show up. Work hard. Get stronger. We’ll do it together.

PROGRESS LOOKS DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE.

Not everyone walks into Build with the same goal.

Some people want to lose body fat. Some want to get stronger. Some want to move better. Others simply want to feel healthier and get back into a consistent routine.

All of those are good reasons to train.

GETTING STRONGER

One of the easiest ways to see progress is simply doing things you couldn’t do before.

More weight. More reps. Better technique. More confidence.

Those small improvements add up.

CHANGING YOUR BODY COMPOSITION

If changing the way your body looks and feels is one of your goals, strength training can be an important part of that process.

Building or maintaining muscle while improving your nutrition and daily habits can help you work toward losing body fat and improving your overall body composition.

MOVING & FEELING BETTER

Progress isn’t always something you see in the mirror.

Maybe getting off the floor becomes easier.

Maybe your balance improves.

Maybe stairs don’t bother you as much.

Maybe you simply feel more confident doing things you used to avoid.

Those wins matter too.

BUILDING CONSISTENCY

Sometimes the biggest win is simply becoming someone who trains consistently.

You don’t need a perfect week every week.

The goal is to build something you can continue doing long enough to actually see the benefits.

WE’RE PLAYING THE LONG GAME.

We’re not interested in beating you up for a few weeks and calling it progress.

We want to help you build strength, confidence and habits that can serve you for years.

Get stronger. Move better. Keep showing up.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL YOU’RE READY.

You don’t need to lose weight first.

You don’t need to get stronger first.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need to be in shape before I start?

No.

You don’t need to lose weight, get stronger or improve your conditioning before you come to Build.

That’s what training is for.

We’ll meet you where you are and adjust the training to your current ability.

What if I haven’t exercised in years?

That’s okay.

You won’t be expected to train like someone who has been exercising consistently for years. We’ll teach you the movements, help you choose appropriate weights and build from there.

What if I don’t know how to lift weights?

You don’t need to.

Every workout is coached. We’ll teach you the exercises, help with your technique and make adjustments when needed.

You’re not expected to figure it out on your own.

Am I too old to start strength training?

No.

Strength training can be valuable throughout adulthood. Our goal isn’t to make everyone train the same way—it’s to help you become stronger and more capable at your current stage of life.

Can exercises be modified if I can’t do something?

Yes.

Not everyone needs to perform the exact same exercise.

We can adjust movements, range of motion, resistance and other parts of the workout based on your current ability while still training toward the same overall goal.

How many days per week should I train?

For many adults, 2–3 strength-training sessions per week is a great place to start.

The right amount depends on your goals, schedule, training experience and other activity.

Consistency matters more than trying to do everything at once.

Is this a group fitness class?

Our adult program uses a coached group-training environment, but it isn’t about everyone doing exactly the same thing at exactly the same level.

You get the energy, accountability and community of training with other people while still having a coach who can adjust the workout for you.

What if I’m nervous about coming in?

That’s normal.

Almost everyone remembers what it felt like walking into a new gym for the first time.

Our job is to make that first experience as simple as possible.

You show up. We’ll take it from there.

Still have questions? Come meet us or experience Build for yourself.
